The CLAT 2026 exam is the key national-level entrance test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes in India. The admit card has been released (on the 22th november 2025) and candidates must download it to appear in the exam.

Eligibility
- For UG (e.g., BA LLB, BBA LLB)
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board.
- General/OBC/EWS/PWD: minimum 45% marks. SC/ST: minimum 40%.
- No upper age limit.
- For PG (LLM)
- Must have an LLB or equivalent degree from a recognised university.
- Minimum 50% (General) / 45% (SC/ST) as applicable.

How to Download the Admit Card
- Visit the official website: Consortium of National Law Universities – consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Click on the “CLAT 2026 Admit Card / Hall Ticket” link.
- Enter your Registration/Application Number & Date of Birth (or password/mobile, as instructed).
- Download the admit card PDF and print at least two copies for the examination day.
- Check all details (name, photo, exam centre, date, time) carefully.
Documents Required on Exam Day
- Printed copy of the admit card/hall ticket.
- A valid photo-ID (such as Aadhar card, Passport, Voter ID) as mentioned in the admit card instructions.
- A recent passport‐size photograph (same as the one uploaded) may be required.
- Follow the reporting time and other instructions on the hall ticket.
