India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 Second Merit list Out

Eligibility

1. Age Limit
   • Minimum: 18 years
   • Maximum: 40 years
   • Age relaxation per Government rules for OBC/SC/ST/PwD candidates.
2. Educational / Skill Qualification
   • Candidate must have passed Class 10th (Secondary School) from a recognized board in India.
   • Mathematics & English must be passed as subjects in Class 10.
   • Local language knowledge of the applied postal circle is required.

Salary & Vacancy Detail

1. GDS / ABPM Salary: approx ₹10,000 – ₹24,470
2. BPM Salary: approx ₹12,000 – ₹29,380
   (Pay depends on location, allowances & TRCA rules.)
3. Vacancy Detail: Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), BPM, ABPM
   • Total Posts: 30,000

• General / OBC / EWS candidates: ₹100.
• SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) / Female candidates: Exempted from fee.
