UPTET Online Form 2026 OTR Registration Syllabus Exam Date

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 notification has been released and the application process is expected to begin from 27 March 2026.
This exam is conducted for candidates who want to become teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Uttar Pradesh government schools. Candidates must check the Official Notification for the UPTET 2026 examination provided below. (Adv. No. 01/UPTET/2026)

Eligibility

  1. Educational Qualification:
    • For Primary Teacher (Class 1–5)
      • 12th with 50% + D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed
        OR
      • Graduation with 50% + B.Ed
    • For Upper Primary (Class 6–8)
      • Graduation with 50% + B.Ed / D.El.Ed
        OR
      • 12th + 4-year B.El.Ed / B.Sc.Ed
  2. Age Limit: Minimum Age: 18 years
    • Maximum Age: 35 years
  3. Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories

Salary

  1. Primary Teacher: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/month
  2. Upper Primary Teacher: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000/month
  3. Additional benefits include arrears pension benefits, and job security.

Application Fee

  1. General/OBC: ₹1000
  2. SC/ST: ₹500
  3. PH: ₹300
  4. Fee structure may differ by state, so candidates must verify before payment.
